1 day down!!!

Hey everybody, I hope you're all well. So I successfully made it through day 1 without smoking, something that took me Ssssooooo long to overcome. I don't expect the next few days or weeks to be easy but I'm so encouraged and inspired by reading from all those who have quit.

So I guess this is just a post to say thank you to ALL who share their highs and their lows in their unique experiences. Genuinely love you ALL and hope we can all overcome the addiction 🙏🏾

In other news, I only had but 2 hours sleep! Still feel tired but my body won't let me sleep. Any tips or is this something I must go through?

Kind Regards xx

Hi Benjamin Well done!! You're on your way now.👏

Insomnia is quite a common withdrawal symptom, if you read the pinned 📌posts you will find some tips there.

Just click where it says posts, then click where it says pinned posts.

I don't work so I managed 40 winks in the afternoon.

You can do this.💪🚭xx

Awwwww thanks A LOT for the encouragement tubby54! This all means so much to me, that there's people out there that care about each other so much. It truly does warm my heart and makes me feel that people are rooting for me. The forum is absolutely AMAZING. I will definitely check out the pinned post so thank you and I laughed out loud at the 40 winks!! A lot better than nothing!! Enjoy and talk soon!

Hi Benjamin, Its very common not being able to sleep, when you first quit. There is no easy solution. I find that if you dont fight it and lay there wide awake 👀its better to get back up and do something. eventually you do need a sleep. It does pass and you will get back to a normal sleep pattern. :) xxx
