Normally when dealing with customer care ; system or admin persons who are more driven by protocol and rules than logic . I do lose my temper very easily resulting in to high BP and ending with smoking .

That’s why I m not following aggressively on my washing machine door replacement.

So today , while driving back to home on toll gate . The toll person stopped me and said my etc tag (tag which automatically detects toll) is not working and asked me to show receipt for it.

In normal situation , I would have started arguing with him that you check your system , it’s not my fault , blah blah , resulting into full blown fight .

But today I was conscious enough to think if I fought I will be right target for Nic to attack .

So I just said it’s your system not working and I don’t have receipt , you check whatever way you want to check , but I won’t pay toll since I have valid toll pass .

After that I roll over the glass kept my ac on and started taking deep breath.

Sometime afterward , cars behind me started honking. I just waited and waited calmly.

After 5 min they did back end check and allow me to move ahead .

This is the first time I was able to handle a situation like this and it did not triggered smoke craving .

So I feel I kill the anger and smoking need with it .

Feeling so proud of myself.
