Day 9

(Day 9 of cold turkey and not smoked 72 fags).

I’ve got 9 days under my belt now, and although I’m not even halfway done yet, it’s still good.

Today's been a bit rough. One of those days when all you feel is stress, anger and frustration. I am not used to handling those emotions without a fag. Had an extreme urge to smoke but I didn't give in to it.

The mind games are horrible. As someone who's addicted I know that it takes just a second to go back to the habit. That worries me. Im concerned with relapsing right now. I am scared I'll give in to it and all my effort will go in vain.

However, I also know I am doing a pretty good job and I am proud of myself. I need to keep it up.

Tomorrow is day 10 and that's awesome.

Thank y'all so much for love, support and motivation. All the stories here inspire me!
