Day 9 very sleepy

Hi guys im on day 9 but ive slept all the day. Felt very tired is this normal? Sucks because its been such a beautiful day and i slept all day. Could it be because my body is going through change?

Thanks.

Jack

Hi j 👋

This is so very normal, at times I think I could sleep for England 💤💤😂

It’ll pass.... well, that’s what I’m telling myself 😂

I was tired for a while. I hope that passes real soon for you. It's the worst feeling, I think. It gets better, hopefully quickly for you. Hang in there, don't give up. 😀 sleep it off , I did. I did what I had to then back to bed.

A. One day in bed, feeling tired = a pain.

B. £12.50 per day and a cough, halitosis, increased cancer, etc, etc.

Now one of those you can live with and one...

You have made the best decision of your life, but you will have moments, in your journey, that you need to remind yourself why you gave up, get a photo, or jar of stinky buts, something to remind you why you are here.

Good luck and well done.

sleep if you can and enjoy it...at least if you are really asleep there will be no temptations😁 Better still put a lounger n the garden and sleep while getting some vitamin D. Chances are this wonderful weather won't last.

It is strange because i seem to sleep more in the day than in night lol. Kinda sucks but i rather sleep than smoke.

I reckon it'll pass. 9 days is great work.😎 Sleeping on the job is the way to go if you can! (Although it's a pain if you don't sleep at night.) So easy to slip onto Hong Kong time...

Ive never been able to sleep at night very well even when i do get my sleeping pattern sorted i always seem to go back to being awake a night and sleeping in the day.

Hi, Jack

Well done for not smoking for 9 days! I felt exhausted initially and wanted to sleep all the time. I guess nicotine is a stimulant so would affect your sleep. It passes eventually, but I enjoyed having a really good nights sleep for a while!

in reply toKitKat174

Yeah i find that when i do manage to get asleep i wake up after 2 hours.

Hey jbamford, I'll just say I've gotten some of my best sleep AND alot more of it since I quit 5 weeks ago....unfortunately most of my sleep happens during the day on my days off, at night is when I have sleeping issues....I wake up alot thru the night.

in reply toNoPuffs7

Yeah so its not just my body playing me up. I seem to sleep better in the day and awake at night i dunno why tho. But at least i know its not just me :).

That exhaustion feeling seems to be a problem. The benefits of quitting out weigh going through this temporary feeling. Take a nap when you feel you need to or may even a walk if you can to get over that feeling. Anything to get past the temptation. Great job on being smoke free. Don't give up, you can do this. It is so worth it.

Thanks for your reply. Im on day 11 now. Im feeling a lot better in myself so is my wallet also :). Well i think im on day 11 anyways i havent been paying much attention to the days really just taking day by day as it comes. Ive noticed that my cravings are getting less :). Im sleeping when i need it. But its kinda hard to sleep at night when i sleep in the day.
