Just a photo of me, so people know what I look like. I'm look angry, but no its just a natural photo. And want to know something cool? This was the day when I made the conscious decision to quit. This was the day when my habit would no longer be a habit, but a pest. And pests? Hard to control, and get rid of, but you can get rid of them. π

Feeling Maddy's sentiments, yes ~ Determined! Go Well :O)
I love the photo and your decision to quit smoking, very well done. I feel you looked thoughtful and perhaps a little sad, not angry - natural enough when making a life changing decision?
You would have eventually regretted being a smoker, because we all do. Now you can look forward to being fit enough to take advantage of every opportunity that comes your way in future.
How I wish I'd had the sense to make the same decision when I was your age. Can you imagine ever wishing you were a smoker? I've never met a non-smoker who did!
Stay strong and take care
Luvin your pic Trey and making the best decision you can, awesomeππΌπ
Hi Trey, just read ur other post. I can't believer you're addicted at 15 I didn't start til I was 16 / 17 and didn't get addicted for ages and I used to steal them! how do u pay for them? So expensive. If I could go back to 15 or 16 / 17 I would tell myself never ever to touch one and to be very scared of them. Years pass by and you realise they have controlled you and taken your money and you do it almost without thinking for years. And that's not even thinking about health issues. I started because it was wrong and thought I was being a rebel.
Def the right choice to quit now. In a few months you could be free from them and never look back. There are no benefits and many disadvantages.
And it is not cool or clever or anything else and actually no one ever thought it was.
How are you doing the quit are you going to get some NRT? You should sign up to a stop smoking service and get weekly support and free patches. That has helped me.
It is hard going. I am about 3.5 months and even today this morning I thought I could just go to the shop and have 10. It is so hard to break the addiction.
Def best advice is to get it over with now, the longer you smoke the longer you put off the inevitable you will have to quit one day or spend ur whole life smoking.
Wish I'd known this at 15. Do it now and u won't regret it.
Good luck πππ
Trey--do this now and be done with it for life--The longer you do it the harder it can be to quit--Ive smoked 53 yrs--and it is hell quitting--not just the craving--lots of weird physical and mental symptoms--You are young, strong and healthy--what a gift--Respect that and take care of it--Id give anything to go back and have known what you know now--Good luck--MmeT
