Will bob your name on our wall of winners , and go pinch one of Monkys badges for you.
Shame your hubby still smokes, perhaps in time he may want to quit.
The warmer weather may coax him to go outside more..
Aup Eikooc, I dont think we've met before, sooo, I will bid you a big warm welcome to this lovely quit forum and a massive gigantic well done to you for getting to 37 days quit
Rite gal, what you have to do is to stay calm and just let your hubby see how well your doing eh I tell you now, its no good trying to force him to quit, cos he will just dig his heels in more
Soooo, your over that 1st month which is flippin ACE gal ermmm, try putting air fresheners around your home and preferably one on hubbies head
This is a very hard one gal, cos I live with er-in-doors and her brother who both still smoke indoors so I know something like what your going through I had an argument with them about it and it ended up with myself taking a pack of 20 a walk with me so please dont get on to him toooo much eh maybe just keep letting him know how much better you feel and go flippin treat yourself to something really nice with the money you have saved go get pampered gal xx
Pete
For a start, your husband needs to be told (without condemnation) that every wisp of smoke will contain enough nicotine to maintain physical withdrawal. I'm sure he's not aware he may be torturing you. I have been fortunate living alone, that I haven't had any problem avoiding other smokers. You're doing really well at 6 weeks &, who knows, if your hubbie ever decides he's had enough of them too, he will have you as a personal example that it's achievable.
Hi Eikoc and yes I can sympathise with you as my hubby still smokes as well
Well I tried everything to get him to stop and he's not having any of it. I now accept that he's not going to stop and for a peaceful life I try to avoid any conflict and although it's difficult I try not to say anything about it now. I have to say I hate the stink which is probably a good thing as I won't be tempted to smell like that again x
