Hi mdelsan, You seem to have plenty going on at the moment. No wonder your anxious. I think I would sit tight until all x ray results ,blood tests, etc have been done. If after all that go back and see your gp and tell him how you feel. Meanwhile why not try some breathing exercises to help you relax . If you type in breathing exercises in the search bar (top right of this page) you should get plenty of help there.

Also have a browse through the hints and tips. section under topics.

Keep us posteed.

Youare a 3 month winner!!!! That is fantastic. I hope in the middle of all this horrible anxiety and waiting for test results and all the testing that you are giving yourself the huge credit you deserve!! Go mdelsan!

I don't have the answer for the anxiety, wish I had :) But I do know that one day you'll be through it, looking back at it, and feeling better. It can be a tough old ride. Divert yourself to get your mind off the stuff, even for a short break of a moment or two :) Congratulate and treat yourself whatever way you like, because you are amazing! You quit!!! Brilliant :)

Wishing you a bit of peace and a celebration for all you've achieved.

X

Hey mdelsan, do you have a contact within your Dr's surgery that you can speak to about this, such as a respiratory nurse?

I'm sure that they will be able to put your mind at ease :-)

Hi Mdelsan,

A huge well done and congratulations to you! You are doing marvellous :-)

You do seem to have a lot going on at the moment and as JillyGirl says, it may be worth letting your GP know how you feel.

Stopping smoking will make a huge difference for the benefit of your health. Now that you have reached the 3 month mark you may notice that you will start feeling more relaxed around stopping smoking. It can be quite an eventful journey, stopping smoking - but it is doable and the rewards are fantastic :-)

You just make sure that you keep popping on here and get the support you may need ;-)
