Hi Everyone, hope you're all doing well and feeling better for not smoking. Yesterday was 3 months for me and not even one sneaky puff (very unusual for me). Eating like a horse but hopefully that will subside once I get used to being patch free. I can't tell you how much healthier I feel, doing the Couch 2 5K programme as well which also contributes to my sense of well being. Long may it last.

WAYYYYYY HAYYYYYYY Ruby, 3 months quit already, thats just flippin ACE gal and am loving you doing the Couch 2 5K programme, this will help you with your quit and to help get rid of them extra pounds that we seem to accumulate eh
Hi Monky, thanks for your support it really means a lot to have so many people encouraging me. Yeah I was hoping the C25K would keep my weight at bay, maybe as I progress it will (only running 20 mins at the moment).
NOPE definitely, I never want to see another fag as long as I live.

3 months Ruby👏👏👏👏
I went through months of craving sugar and I put on 10 lbs... In the last 2 weeks I put a stop to it and I'll lose that weight I gained... I had a rough time with my quit... It took 5 months to finally stop craving every single day.. I think that's when my depression lifted...
Thanks for your lovely comments Arionasands. In the past excess weight has tempted me back into smoking, but not this time, I'm determined (the health risks aren't worth it).
Sorry you had such a rough time but hey it must be great to be able to say 6 months! My quit was quite tough but the NRT got me through and still does (still on the mouth spray).
