4 Days....OK well it's a start.

My name is Daemon71 and it is four days since a cigarette passed my lips. I am using an e-fag, so haven't gone cold turkey. I seem doomed to fail every time I try that.

Yeah yeah, it's only four days..... I know, but its a start, eh.

Hiya Daemon and a big warm welcome too :)

We all have to start at the beginning and 4 days is a great achievement, so well done :)

There are many different ways to give up and what works for you is great :)

Lots of members have very successful quits with the ecig, so you are no longer doomed as you say :)

This is your time and you can do it :)

Lots of information and support here for you :)

We will all help you :) x

Aup Daemon and a big warm welcome to this lovely quit forum :) :)

As Briarwood has said, we all have to start somewhere and the beginning is a very good place to start :) 4 days quit now then, thats just great pal :) cos I think those first few days are the hardest of them all :o

I too am using the e-cig to help me quit and very good they are too :) If you need any help with it, just give us a shout, cos there quite a few using members using them :)

Try to keep focused on your quit and be happy with yourself for doing it :) :) Keep reminding yourself why your doing this :) and remember NOPE !! '' Not One Puff Ever '' :) Maybe try some exercising or walking and fill your lungs with that fresh air :) Drink plenty of water as this helps to clean your body out of all those toxins that come with smoking :)

Be proud of yourself and your achievements :) cos we can all tell you it is not easy to quit the smokes :( BUT it is doable, as you can see by all our Winners badges :) :)

After your first week quit, go and flippin treat yourself to something nice :) :)

Good luck Daemon, hope to speak soon :)

Pete :)

The money I save is buying me a new wing..... that's my goal. NO SMOKES = new wing. I went shopping earlier and had the just one argument with myself, and talked myself out of buying a fresh pack of GV and some skins. I'm quite proud of that. :D

Daemon - if I may be so bold as to offer you a little advice: an e-cig is good but also find other ways to deal with cravings - sweets (especially Extra Strong Mints for me!), nic lozenges or gum, all sorts of things. E-cigs aren't always totally reliable and can't be used everywhere but, if you have a variety of things that help, you can always find a way of coping without being tempted to returning to those nasty burny leafy things.

Keep the faith and NOPE (Not One Puff Ever).

Don't ever put yourself down, 4 days is EPIC. You're doing really really well & just remember that all of us had to start somewhere. I quit using an Ecig and found it to be the easiest quit ever (I'd tried quite a few times believe me !!) I'm 13 months on but can still remember counting off those first days on my wall chart just one at a time but thinking I'd just get to a week and then if I wanted a cig I'd have one but then thinking I'd try for 2 weeks and so it went on.The only advice I'd give you (well 2 bits really) use your Ecig for as long as you need it,Don't cut your nicotine strength too soon and stick close to this site, loads and loads of really great helpful folk to help you along the way.I'm proud of your 4 day quit & you should be too.

Hi Daemon, We'll done on your four days. I'm a newbie like you and just got past my first week and determined this time it's for life.

Can't deny at time the cravings are driving me crazy but starting to get some positives now.

My chest always used to feel sore and raw and that feels so much better after just one week.

Stay strong and it will hopefully get easier for us.

Hi Daemon71 welcome to the group. Well done for not smoking for 4 days. I use a e cig as well and I am finding really helpful for me. So keep using the e cig as long as you need to. :)

I know it's not easy to quit the habit. But four days of not trying to smoke cigarette is a big improvement already. Electronic cigarette as far as I know, and base on some reviews as well is a big help in quitting cigarette smoking. Keep the patience and willingness. You can do it for sure!
