Today is day four without a smoke. The headache has ease down but my eye sight is still kind of blurry. Also it feels like my reactions are a little slow at times. Real hard to focus. I'm glad the head ache gave me a break though.
4 days in and confused and dizzy.: Today is day... - Quit Support
4 days in and confused and dizzy.
Hiya Z and welcome to quit supportπ
Well done on making it to day 4, great achievement so well done to youππΌ
Day 4 is really a tough one and your body is craving which causes headachesπ© This can make it difficult to concentrate but if ya can manage to drink lots of water, it will help to flush the toxins out and rehydrate you too.
May I ask if you're using NRT or cold turkey as this will help us to help you
If you are concerned that your eyesight continues to be blurry, to be on the safe side it's a good idea to get checked out. This will put your mind at restπ
Our mantra is NOPE not one puff ever, lots of help available here and have a good look around the site, especially the pinned posts.
Good luckπ ππ
π Thanks and hello! I stopped cold turkey. Yesterday my head felt so heavy near the front, I thought I was going to faint. Now it just feels like a balloon. I'm going to grab some water and fruit juice from the store while I'm out. I mainly stopped smoking because I suffer from panic attacks. I figure the smoking was making it worst.
Yep you're right, smoking does make it worseπ© cold turkey is brilliant as it gets it over and done with but it all hits you at onceπ± hang tight coz it's a roller coaster of a journey and it will all be worth itπ
Stay close to this site as the lovely people on here will help get you through and you'll also get a badge from admin, so that's something to look forward to. Believe in yourself coz you're worth itπ
Hi znelson and welcome to quit support ππππ
Take a browse through the pinned posts to the right of the screen as there is a lot of info on the symptoms of recovery.
I have a calmness that I never had as a smoker ππ, so quitting just may help with panic attacks, it will definitely help with your future health ππ
All the very best on your quit journey ββ
Your in the right place Znelson, I wreckon for every symptom there's someone in this Community who identifies, meaning never alone no more in our action to be free from smoking. thanks for posting up, speak soon
Great to be here! I was so happy when I came across the board. Really thought I was going at this the wrong way of something. The symptoms can be scary.
Hi Znelson,
Ya , I as well found the withdrawal symptoms frightening.... The senior quit people on this site reassured me what I was experiencing was normal..... If it wasn't for them I would have lit up out of anxiety...... I had aching teeth, nausea, exhaustion, back pain, headaches ..... I felt so sick...... It's all been worth it.... Use our mantra...... Not One Puff Ever... And keep this site close ..

Tunnel vision is what I meant by the blurry vision guys... Yeah I got these bursts of energy at 4am in the morning. When I did finally calm down, it felt like all the feeling in my body left. So being to calm scared me. Lol. No teeth aches though. The headaches and dizziness was killer for me. I wonder if I will need glasses now.
Hiya z there is a poll on here about all the symptoms some of us have had throughout our journeys it's worth looking at π
Well done on cold turkey, we have a lot of quitters who gave up that way too and have been/still are, really successful πππππππ
Quick question! Are you guys using your mobile phones or desktops? I'm using my cell, and am trying to navigate around. Any tips?
Hiya Z, it's harder to see on the mobile phone and it might be a good idea to get an eye test, at least you'll know if ya need glasses.
I find I can do more on my iPad than the phone and it's easier to get around the posts, but then maybe that's just meπ
Although I can see your a 4 day winner on all of em, good on yaπ€
