Jillygirl Update.

Our lovely Jillygirl has txt me to say that she is now back in hospital

Apparently the hospital super bug that she court from the last visit to hospital likes her soooo much, it wont leave her thats our Jillygirl for you

She sounds chirpy though and sends you all her love and best wishes on your quits

For those of you who havnt met Jillygirl, she joined this site about the same time as I did, but she has managed to stay quit for well over 2 years now even though she has had one of her lungs removed due to lung cancer and all the other problems she has had in the last few months. She has helped so many people on here, including myself

Jillygirl, am sending you loads and loads of get well soon and anti super bug huggs to help you get through gal

Hi Pete - this web site is different everytime I come on it!! yup I'm good I get my 3 month cancer check on Thursday and hoping to still be in the all clear. However I did break my foot carrying a bag of compost up my steps!! Then I dropped the ironing board on it today and next doors dog stood on it yesterday!!! What can I say???!! Am hoping to get the plaster off this week - I'm like a caged animal not being able to get out and about! BY the way - when I opened the compost I used a knife and slashed at it like Jack the Ripper!!! You sound ok - hope you.re enjoying the weather and getting a few rays!! xx

Thanks Pete for letting us know about Jillygirl, I think about her most days, hopeing she is getting better, I miss her posts so much, they gave me so much strength when I started my quit journey. I'm sending ALL my get well vibes to her xxx

Yeah I'm 9 months now! It is getting easier, but I still struggle on some days with feeling out of breath, not sure how much of that is anxiety thou.

When I'm feeling good and calm I do feel some much better than I have for years.

And also I've got no urge to smoke at all.

How you've been? How's the quit going?

I hope you've had a lovely day and its not been tooooo hot for you Mind you, it should be cooling down a bit for you now

Hi Pete, it is lunchtime here and around 22. We haven't had very much hot weather yet, but 30-40 expected Fri and Sat. Feb is usually the hottest month and I don't do anything much on hot days due to breathing problems. Luckily I don't work any more, so can pick the time of day to do stuff - usually early morning.

Feb is usually one of our coldest months and as for this Friday & Saturday, its going to be about 7 or 8 if were lucky
