HAPPY WEDNESDAY EVERYBODY!!!

Well on a dull and damp Wednesday morning in Sheffield, this little lady is walking on sunshine today!

My break from work has done me the world of good. I feel refreshed, re-energised and raring to go again, and I'm so excited about my daughter coming home from uni on Friday!

In this crazy fast paced world we live in, sometimes it is just nice to stop and smell the flowers!

Hi Fresher How are you? Things are going really well with the nicotine drop thanks, I have put a tiny bit of the 0.6 in when I've really really needed it, but that is usually in the evening and I've just been puffing on the 0% throughout the day. Back to work next Monday, so I just want to be 100% confident that I can get through a whole day without nicotine and therefore without going into meltdown! Ha Ha Ha xx

Good Morning Chrissie and Everyone else

We have a mixture of rain and cloud and cloud and rain over here in not so sunny Liverpool

Thanks ever so much for getting the Daily Chat up and running Chrissie, much appreciated - you're a star. I know that in the past some members have said that they have felt lost without it but haven't felt that they could start it off / or didn't know how to - So if anybody is first up, and have a spare 5 minutes or maybe find they can't sleep throughout the early hours then please feel free to 'open up shop' It then gives others (at the moment Chrissie) a chance for a sleep in or to get themselves ready for work

I need to pop myself back on the opening up rota - Usually, if it's not on by 10am I'll open up

I heard from Nurse Sarah, JillyGirl's daughter last night and our JillyGirl may be coming out of hospital today or tomorrow. Hopefully she'll feel heaps better being back in the comfort of her own home and this will aid her recovery

There is a big hole in our Quit Support without her

I'll also pop this update on our 'JillyGirl' post for those who may not pop onto the Daily Chat

Right, I need a cup of tea I do, anybody else for one?

Hi EmJay, that is such fantastic news about Jilly so thank you for sharing! Like you I am absolutely sure she will feel so much happier and comfortable in the her own home and this will definitely aid her further recovery - oh I do hope she is well enough to come on and say hello though, I can't wait to hear from her!

EmJay please can you send me some motivation to clean my bathroom! I so want to do it but I'm so laid back at the moment (I'm practically horizontal!!!)

Failing that, put the kettle on, it will give me another excuse not to do it

Hi all, happy to hear the news about Jillygirl coz we all miss her sooooooh much. Sending hugs and get well wishes to her yes Chrissie you are doing a great job and well done for that and not much nicotine as well, amazing lady monkey doing great also and fresher as well I am honored to be in such great company well done to all who are starting this difficult journey and everyone else who is struggling to keep at it. We will stay positive and keep going and keep each other going x
