I'm glad somebody else is up - and yes what a beautiful day in Yorkshire!!!
Well I'm going to get my chores done this morning so that I can hopefully head to the pub this afternoon to watch the match - I love going to the pub when there are important sporting events on - today will be packed as Sheffield are involved and the atmosphere will be fantastic
I hope you are feeling better today and have a wonderful day topping up on vitamin D!
Morning Fresher - well it looks like our sunshine could possibly disappear - there are clouds appearing! Never mind, it's still a non working day for me so I'm happy!!! Have a great day xx
You have obviously got the sunshine today jillygirl bit overcast this morning here but never mind, going for a swim in a few minutes get me started for the day, went out for a lovely meal last night with hubby, son and met girlfriend for first time, was great but ate too late and been up most of the night feeling too full etc so need to go and work that off hope everyone has a wonderful day, enjoy the match Chrissie, are you United or Wednesday supporter. son goes to Sheffield Uni, small world. Anyway whatever everyone is doing enjoy pass us some sunshine here Jillgirl need some vitamin d myself today x x x
Wow re your son Kaprin, I actually work for them! What is your son studying and does he like the city?
Well we live on the United side of the city, and my ex husband is a blade so he indoctrinated the girls as well - so I'm possibly more blades but I do still support the Owls when they are in a special match! I'm not sure I'll get to the pub now unless my daughter fancies it but if all else fails I'll have the radio on - I think it's quite exciting when a local team gets somewhere - trust me it doesn't happen very often!!!
He loves it there coming to the end of his third year studying chemistry but going to do an extra year covering physics as such a shortage of physics teachers and that's what he wants to do
Good morning, loving the pic Jillygirl, thanks. I hear I missed a big party last night - dancing and all! Monky was throwing a few shapes on the dance floor, pity I missed that! I think Chrissie and sin were encouraging him and you were all having a blast. Good - glad you all enjoyed it. No sun here yet but if I'm lucky one of ya might take pity and send me some if you have it to spare! Have a great Sunday and stay strong. X
Good morning everyone, nearly lunch time again, I am really gonna have to stop staying up til 1 in the morning, the day's gone before I have chance to catch it up. Good morning Jillygirl, I love that picture, is it Pete's cat? Haha, yes last night was fun, enjoyed the partay. I always seem to end up playing music on a Saturday night, must be a throw back to many, many years past, that and the fact that hubby is always watching football on a Saturday night.
Good luck with your team Chrissie, have a lovely afternoon whether you end up at the pub or not. The weather here is rubbish too, not seen any sunshine really but nothing new there. Have worn my e-cig battery out with all that partying last night, only charged it yesterday afternoon. Hubby is cracking on with the pond - yes the pond saga continues, though it is up and running now with no leaks. Don't know if Mrs Sunnyside remembers all that time ago when I said we were going up her way to Deeside, well that was when we picked up the new pond liner and only just done it

Oh, would you look at that, my badge has returned. Aww thank you EmJay where ever you are
Good afternoon Jillygirl and everybody It was sunny here in Derbyshire but now clouds are appearing, now ave finished cooking dins and making my lumpy gravy
Jillygirl, just love the pic gal No I aint got a thick head after partying lastnight seeeeeee mind you saying that, I must be getting older, cos my legs and bum ache this morning with all that flippin bum wiggling going on
Rite, am off to have a nosey around before I get in that garden
My, you've all been having a busy weekend. I'm sorry I missed the party last night. I don't get out much usually but last night I went to a party! This is so spooky - it was a 60th party. I went in the lounge when the dancing started, it was all women and we were leaping around to the Bay City Rollers when one of the blokes wondered where the pile of handbags was in the middle so we all found them, threw them in and carried on dancing around them. I seem to remember doing the Bump at one stage too.
Hiya Sin, the DJ was actually my god-daughter (22) cos I don't think any of us oldies knew how to work the Ipod thingy - I wouldn't have a scooby myself.
Jilly, lovely pic today, as always. I hope you're feeling a bit better today - the sooner you're off those awful steroids the better, I'm sure.
Chrissie, 3 weeks now, just brilliant.
Sin, great to see you've got your badge back. Did you get out on your bike today in that lovely weather?
Pete, I've missed all your Sunday lumpies. Glad you're still hammering the rowing machine - how's that bike?
I thought I'd better try and redress the balance a bit cos apart from Grenada, you all seem to come from oop north. Kaprin, Briar, fresher and everyone else, waves to you all. You are all doing so well and you can crack it. Keep going and don't give up giving up.
Oooo Briar, I could just do with a holiday, I hope they have some nice bikinis to buy over there cos I need some new ones - I wore all my old ones out last year.

Aup Andi, its lovely to see you again gal
You've only just got back from a flippin looooooooong holiday and hey, could you please answer this question for me, '' how can you wear a bikini out '' ?? hmmmmm, unless you've groan in a couple of places eh
He's very strong and well organized. He'll be okay during the day but we'll have to take his cage for the evenings. Once he gets going on those tinnies of his, heaven knows what he could get up to.
Duh, what lovely weather might that be then??? It's been bob here for about 2 or 3 weeks now, am sooooo sick of it. It's been cloudy all day long, it's not just the cloud though, it's colder now than it was in February and March We reached the dizzying heights of about 11 degrees today with a stiff cold wind blowing am very sad cos I haven't been on my bike for ages.
Most of the time, might be a bit more crowded at weekends when local people tend to go to the beach more or if a Cruise ship is in but mostly...... pretty empty.
Just watched the video..... the sea was very rough that day!!!!
I do actually love it there, though a bit further back towards Chesil Beach and Bridport and around there - lovely. We went to Poole once when I was little but I started with Whooping cough and we had to come home early.
Wow Andi do you like in Dorset? that is my favourite part of the country - we spent all our holidays there as children - wow lucky you! If there is a trip down there going I'm on it!!! (please ) xxx
Hi Andi, great to see you again and your party sounds brilliant!
Interesting point re a lot of people on here being from up 'north! I wonder if more northerners actually smoke, I've a funny feeling that might be true!
So anyway, apart from partying, what have you been up to?
Yes, we all smoked cos we suffer depression from sunshine deprivation. It's a wonder we don't all have rickets too as the body can't make its own Vitamin D, it needs sunshine.
Well, now I'm back from all my travels (until we go to Grenada ) I've got to make yet another concerted effort to get rid off all my excess weight which went back on while I was away over the winter. I've now rejoined the gym, started back with my old pt, started running again and walking but I haven't got my bike back out yet. I have been threatening to myself for the last few days but not done it yet.
That was excellent that you walked to pick up your car the other day, you'll have to do that more often.
What I seem to notice lately is more blokes smoking than women although I always used to see it the other way round.
While I think on, and while I have some witnesses around, if anyone catches me on here after 10.30pm from now on tell me to get to bed. I really, really must stop going to bed in the morning, then getting up at half 8 and 9.00am it's not good, half the day has gone before I know what I'm doing.
I'm in that trap to, I tell myself at 7am in the morning, 'tonight I am going to bed early' then before I know it it's midnight and I'm full of energy. I'm not at 7am the morning after though lol.
haha, it's the internet, its bad, bad. I've been doing it for years but I seem to be getting even worse now. At least I used to still be able to get up,
Aww, that's no good. Why you waking up? I wake up some nights coughing. Am sure its this e-cig, it dries my throat. You can guarantee if I take a glass of water to bed I don't wake up but if I forget then I have to go trudging around the house, then the dogs think, well actually we could do with nipping out while you're up like.
I've been doing it for years to and always manage to get up but spend the first hour looking like something off a horror film till my face sorts itself out
I always wonder what I used to do pre internet days. Could do with going back to the days of dial up when you had to pay for your internet time by the minute.
Was never the internet with me... May become an issue now though
Aww, y'know what I'm going to have to go now if I'm going to make it up to that bed at 10.30. I put my laptop on at 6.30 to do some stuff and I've been on here all night long. It's been lovely chatting and going on holiday and everything, hope you all sleep well and tomorrows another smoke free day - Night.
Just make sure none of you come in the wet season (June to end November) because that is also hurricane season..... not all perfect in paradise.
I should also mention that it is not very flat where I live..... on a mountain in fact!!! Grand Anse beach area is flat though and bicycles can be ridden.
