Just thought I'd introduce myself as I just joined. I'm taking Zyban and am on day 3 with no fags :) Each day gets a little bit easier, but I'm getting really bad stomach pains and nausea :/ Anyone else on Zyban?

Hi peeps , lk-usa is a new member who like you is on Zyban. May be worth sending a private message to see if he/she has any similar problems. Just click on the envelope on the green bar at the very top of the page , then type in the name in the search bar. :) If you get stuck shout. :)

Thank you :) Zyban was my last chance really. I've tried to quit before using the e cig, patches, gum, inhaler and mints and found it so difficult. But Zyban is making it quite easy which is great! I still think about having one, but I no longer feel like I need one. How long ago did you quit?

Its 2 years now since I quit. I used the inhalator which worked for me. :)

Aup Peeps, its great to meet you, and a great big warm welcome to this lovely quit site :) :)

I'm very sorry, but havnt used that one :o but I have found this link for you if it works :o :)

nhs.uk/medicine-guides

If you click on that, it should take you to the NHS site for Zyban side affects

I think there's quite a few of us who get stomach pains when we first quit ! Erm, as for the nausea, I've used Champix before and got nausea with that to start with, but a lovely member on here, told me to eat something when I take a tablet, even if it was a couple of biccies :) and that did the trick :) :)

Please keep us posted eh :) Pete :)

Thanks, I'm so glad I just happened to discover this site :). It's great to be able to chat with people who are going through the same thing :) Yeah I've heard people sometimes feel unwell when they quit. It's worth having stomach pains to give up smoking though!

Just keep trying. It's going to get easier and to be honest the benefits of giving up far far outweigh any minor side effects to medication like Champix or Zyban.Good Luck and feel better soon.
