Good morning Jilly and everyone. The sun is shining and it's a bit breezy. Mind you, it wasn't like that when I woke up and I'm sure it won't be like this before too long. I took the opportunity to pop out and get some photos of the floods and rough sea. Crikey, I thought my hands would drop off they were so cold in the wind. Glad I don't have to go and stand outside in these kind of conditions. Think I'll pop to the shops before the next onslaught.
Emjay, I was just wondering if you do a warm-up routine before you do your daily exercises? Don't want any more injuries now.
Good morning Andi, Sunny here too but cold wind. blue skies at the moment. You will have to show us your piccys bet they are dramatic. Hubby just been laughing at me as our flat overlooks Morrisons car park and warehouse. So being on the first floor we see all their lorries delivering and the pictures on the side of the lorries. One of them is the lorry with a very large fish on it, so when i look out all I see is this horrid fish looking in my window. Off for a small walk before it gets too windy for me. catch bup later.

Hi ya Jillygirl I hope you enjoyed your walk
About this ear fish on a lorry !!
Well I can remember you having dreams about smoking some time ago now, cos you had quit them
Soooo, now you can see fish on the sides of lorries, just wondering, if you've quit eating fish-n-chips
Good Morning, Good Afternoon and Good Evening (if Mardi is looking in)
It's very blustery out there and the wind is definitely getting up, I hope that both Andi and Sue are safe up North and Down South There have been severe weather warnings for those in the coastal areas. Stay safe folks.
It's sounding quite vibrant in our offices today, I think a quite of people have come back into work today with the rest returning on Monday.
For those of you who have stopped smoking for the New Year, it is probably around this time (Day 3) that your body will start recognising that you aren't following an old habit and that you aren't feeding it with all those nasty toxins as you may have done over the past number of years. Remember that any cravings that you may be getting are a positive sign of recovery and that the more times you overcome them, the stronger you will become
Andi, I do a good 10 minutes of stretching before anything every morning now, regardless of what happens next, then after sorting animals and making tea, I'm ready for my next set of press ups - today it was 3 Sounds really mad just doing 3, but as it increases I'm sure it will be harder!
JillyGirl, as long as the fish looking in wasn't thrown from the sea with all this mad weather that's going on!
I've just spotted Mardi's post in yesterdays daily chat and thought I would respond here in today's chat;
Mardi, you are doing the right thing and learning from where it went wrong for you. Focus on all the cigarettes that you haven't had and you'll see how well you really have done Sometimes it takes a slight hiccup to make us realise how serious we really are about wanting to stop smoking. Some people will either go back to smoking, others will just put it to the back of their mind and crack back on with quitting, whilst others will think about how it was for them - whether they really enjoyed it or not, whether it tasted nice, about the moments before actually lighting up, did they put up much resistance to it or just say 'yes please' to the person offering the cigarette...
Sometimes it is worth reflecting on so that you can learn from it, and it sounds like this is what you have done already and following 2 'learning curves', you are now back on it - like a car bonnet
Happy Friday everyone.Weather wise it's starting to get a bit windy and looking like it's going to pour down pretty soon, we're on the North East Coast about 5 mins from the sea so just gonna batten down the hatches and see what happens.I have earrings and a bracelet to make today as a thank you prez for my consultants secretary who is fab (just a bit of a hobby of mine which helps keep my hands busy as well) Have a good day all and a happy weekend.
