Well, its a lovely dry but chilly morning here in Derbyshire, even the suns trying to come out

Done shopping, got some odd jobs to do, then am having a nice relaxing weekend hmmm, it does depend on how many odd jobs I find to do though

Yep, fleeing. Went out at lunch time in my car and the icy roads warning light came on and stayed on the whole time I was out, which means it is 3 degrees or below

Start housework: started

Chill out with a cuppa: Done

Brunch: Done

Continue with housework: Done

Chill out with another cuppa: Doing

I need to take my Eva-puppy-dog to get chipped later as she took herself on a walk on her own a couple of weeks ago and it cost my £40 to get her out the dog pound!

JillyGirl, I hope you get that phone call pretty soon

Friezfriend, a nice brisk walk over them there moors all wrapped up and warm... No? A nice cuppa then and chat with us on here

Thanks emjay, yeah had a nice birthday meal out in the evening with the family. Have a streaming cold today, not impressed. Did you know using an e-cig when you have a cold is worse than smoking so am on lozenges today. Friezefriend is right, it's really not cycling or walking weather here, monsoon rain and freezing temperatures, plus its just thundered and lightened - weird weather.

Hi everyone,

It was bucketing it down here this morning til after lunch. Friends moved in yesterday so I'm still trying to find homes for all my "stuff". Now found the dining table, friend is cooking, her hubby is doing a couple of little odd jobs for me - it's be lovely to have a "man who can" around from time to time, but hey-ho - never mind! We popped out to the shops this aft and I think the whole town had the same idea when the rain stopped.

I had wanted to do the Parkrun this morning but when I was awake at 5, coughing like mad, then heard the weather forecast, I switched off the alarm and stayed in bed.

Hope you're all sorted for your Saturday nights - whatever you're doing, make sure it doesn't involve those little hite sticks.
