Funny start to today, both Pete and I posted at the same time, then we both deleted our posts at the same time, then we both messaged each other to tell the other one what we had done... At the same time Then to finish off, my photie of Agnes and Gertie has come out sideways!
They say great minds think alike dont they? Either that or that fools seldom differ?!
'tis the weekend all round again and lets see if we can either keep up the smokefree momentum or continue with our planning towards reaching a quit date and leading a smokefree and healthier lifestyle.
We've two more days before the start of Stoptober. This is an absolute brilliant opportunity that will encourage thousands to go for the Stoptober challenge of staying stopped for at least 28 days. It doesn't matter whether you stop on the 1st of October or the 30th October... In fact it doesn't matter when you stop, just as long as you do. However,by stopping during this time period, then you know that you'll not be too far away from others who are going through a similar journey to you.
Come on folks, brave up and set that quit date Don't forget to let us know when your quit date is so you can have your name proudly displayed on our Wall of Winners, the place where every quitter is a winner.

Rain down here this morning - didn't affect me as I did a Body Conditioning class this morning but I'm hoping to do our local Parkrun next week. Boy, I need to do more of those classes cos I've got no stamina in some of those exercises. The puff doesn't seem to be a problem though.

Hi Sue, baby"s are very tiring especially when they never sleep that's why I avoid grandma duties for the time being anyway been there done that with my son when he was a baby. Just come back from a 24 mile bike ride, my knees hurt sooo much now.
Sue, lovely to see/have them but great to give them back, eh?
Sin, how come your knees don't improve with the mileage you do? Maybe you've got to do lots of squats or something. Pete could show you how to do them.
Can't believe I'm nearly into week 3 : )HOORAH !! Strange thing is that I don't particularly miss my friend John Player even if he was,Special !! Went to the gym Doing a challenge with Slimming World to walk Hadrians,Wall, done around 35 miles this week with 37 more to go.Just very glad to be part of this very supportive and SMOKE FREE community.Since we HUGE well done on the bike ride and EmJay just love Agnes and Gertie. Hi Yell, HOORAH!! indeed! Good for you, I'm sure you'll manage it this time. Walking Hadrian's Wall sounds like a great challenge and doing half of it in one week is pretty good going. You'll be doing that one where you cross from one side of England to the other next. It's up north somewhere and is about 110 miles. Btw, just wondering what the H stands for? (you don't have to tell if you don't want to. )
That's my first month cracked ... It is getting easier and I am feeling better ... Stoptober is going to be a great no smoking moth for us all. Thank you to all those who have supported and encouraged me
