Please forgive my sheer ignorance -but what is the parade?
Its rained non stop for the last few days. One minute there's a crisis because the rivers/lakes are too low -the next minute we are being told to evacuate our houses due to flood
Sara......As a Military Veteran, I, along with other Military Veterans attended a Drumhead Service, therefore we were on parade. A drumhead service is held on the battlefield during war, a base drum is placed on the ground, two side drums placed on top, and another side drum placed on top, like an altar, the Regiment standard(Flag) is draped over the drums, which becomes an altar on which a bible is placed, for a Drumhead Service.
When you see Trooping the Colour on television...... the guards are on.....Parade. 😀
