Good morning Pete and everyone.

I'm sorry you're feeling like that today Pete. I think it's because it's like it's the end of summer and everything's downhill all the way now. :o At least we finally got a summer this year although we missed out on a spring. I hope you can get into your garden cos that will make you feel better, especially if Monky comes and helps you. :)

The weather looks pretty good here today so I'm off to the beach and to get my ears blasted by all those planes.

Have a good smoke free day and see you later. :)

Good morning Pete and Andi, If you wonder why I was late on site, its because I have been scrubbing those spots off. So I am nice and clean and pink today. :D :D

Hope you all have a lovely day . see you later. :) xx

Hi everyone,

Another week over. I'm gradually getting back into the swing of work. There are things I hate about it but equally things I really love and if I am thankful that I have a job. Also, another one of my colleagues has been persevering with an e-cig. I'm so pleased for her. I still use mine but less and less and measured by the amount of liquid I am now using. I even went to Sainsburys today without it. Not that I ever use it in Sainsburys or even during the whole time I am out but I forgot it and when I realised I was fine about it. I will be thinking of Sin when I go back to work and her colleagues. Maybe there will be a similar turnaround where I work. Would be great if there was.

I am still sending out those vibes Pete. I know you are destined to succeed. :)

I love Lytham and Blackpool Jilly and let me tell you a story. When I was 16 I went on my very first holiday as a young adult with a friend. A smoking friend. Up until then I had only smoked occasionally and was usually violently sick. I don't know if it was the change of air or what but after 1 week I came back home and was a fully fledged smoker. I was even proud of it because I remember announcing it to my mum as if I had achieved some kind of status in life. 40 years on, my mum who was a lifetime smoker has gone and I'm not able to say, hey mum, I've quit smoking. I know she would have been proud of me for that. I just wish she had succeeded in giving up herself and she tried more than once, sometimes for weeks. I hope you have a brill time when you go Jilly and I will have to go back there again some day, and this time I will only breathe in the wonderful sea air. :) I read your story again Jilly and it is inspiring and shows great strength.x

I hope you enjoyed the beach Andi and that the planes were not to disturbing. :)

Jonathan, you are doing so well and I'm sure the feedback that you give here is really helpful to others and inspiring. I know I find it so. :)

Sue, if you read this, I really hope you find your brother. It must be so worrying for you. Sending a Sally hug.x

And Pete, sending one to you to as you too. Big Sally hug.x

Enjoy the rest of the evening all.

Sally.. :)

Hi Sally, lovely to hear from you. I know what you mean about your mum being proud of you. I am sure she is watching over you saying that's my girl. :) I felt exactly the same way about my dad, he died of lung cancer at 72yrs old, even though he had packed it in when he was about 36. He was always saying to me "you should stop smoking" How I wish I had taken his advice earlier. Still better late than never.

I think now your not worrying about taking your e.cig everywhere you can class yourself as a fully fledged non-smoker. :) xx
