Like others once set in my ways find it hard to change. Now I'm back (look at me using the new site ha).
Potted history since last time, of my quit attempt. Finally came off NRT and felt fine at first. Couple of weeks later started thinking I've beaten smoking then for no reason at all NIC starting saying that I could have one cigar after meals because I was in charge not him. The result (like talent shows result after pause ........) I'm back on NRT medium strength. Sneaky bugger nearly got me.
Another update. The weather has been fantastic and I've been playing so much golf I've got tennis elbow, I don't even play bloody tennis. Apparently rest is the answer but I'll wait for the bad weather ha.
Hope everyone is still fighting the fight and seeing positive results, if nothing else more money in the pocket.
Take care.

Good morning Jimigolf, Great to hear from you. Sounds like you have enjoyed this summer. shame about the elbow, but like you say rest it when the weather turns.
So pleased you didn't let Mr Nic back into your life. Like you said he is a sneaky one. Like Jonathan (quit) keeps saying N.O.P.E. not one puff ever. You take care of yourself. xx
Just want to say hello this morning & say I am looking forward to a smoke free day, with as normal a mind as possible, calm & positive !! (That should do it !!!!).
Best wishes
Jonathan
P.S. My black lab likes cats & mice - but it they are scared I can change into something else ?
Yaye! I knew you would figure it out I'm still having the odd challenge here and there, I'm not so much a whizz with tecky things these day
Great to hear you have taken the lead once again and put yourself in proper charge It's coming up to your 4th month of being smokefree so although the bulk of the cravings will have packed their little bags and gone, there will still be a few stragglers who will do their utmost to save up all their energy, recharge their batteries and come at you in full force when you least expect it. However, keep this in the back of your mind and just welcome them in the door as soon as you feel them, once they know that you are 'tougher then them' they'll put their tail between their legs and that'll be the end of them.
Keep up the good efforts and take care of your golfers elbow
Hmmm so your back on the NRT, so flippin what ! cos its a whole lot better than being smoking again, dont you think
As Emjay has said, its coming up to your 4th month quit so dont you give up the fight yet, ok, so nic's got a bit of something up his sleeve, well, so have you, tennis elbow
Anyway, I thought you golfers got golfers cramp cos at the 18th, you cant get your wallet out of your pocket
Hey Jim, your doing just fine pal, you did the right thing by going back to NRT to help you cos thats what its for to help us. You think how many years you have been smoking so its going to take a bit of getting rid of eh ! Am just wondering, if there was something specific that gave you the urge to smoke again, just think back to when it happened.
Jim, take care pal, and please let us know how your getting on eh cos it might just help somebody else, who's having a bit of trouble, like you
Speak soon, Pete PS, if you dont want me to send you any huggs then get that tennis elbow sorted out pretty smartish
