Hi everyone, I've been a sergeant major this morning making sure hubby does his exercises and goes his walk, we had some fun trying to get his wrinkly stockings on, boy are they tight

Hi Sue , you probably know already but if the stockings are open toed ones put a plastic bag over his foot then the stocking goes on easier. if that doesn't work always use it on his head. only joking . sorry Mr sue.
Jilly - hope you have had a good day. I've been out and about this afternoon. Had a lovely catch up chat with my lovely neighbour. I don't have any relatives of the older generation so I value those I know even more. She is so lovely my neighbour. Has a huge family who are always popping in and out. I do miss my Mum. Sorry I'm rambling on. It's all the adrenalin from being out. I bought new blinds for my kitchen. The old I will recycle as floor mats as they are bamboo and nothing wrong with them really just that the cords broke.
Nice to see you back Sue. It is slowly getting some kind of momentum here again. I hope your husband makes a good recovery.
Jonathan, my you really are having an adventure with your quit. I picked up a pen today instead of my e-cig. I puffed it twice before I realised. It has taken 6 months but I am finally beginning to not need the e-cig, albeit by mistake. I think you will succeed Jonathan, definitely.
EmJay, if I didn't have regular conversations with myself I wouldn't hold out much hope for me. I do that and smile at myself in the mirror.

Hi Sally, that's great that you don't need the e cig as much I know too many people who have swapped that for a real ciggy and have said there never gonna come off them.
I constantly talk to myself, I'm waiting on the men in white coats coming to take me away, especially when I start doing it outside

I'm just over 7 weeks quit now, and its really getting to me again !!!
I'm ok at work and driving but its when I get home I go in the house, and I smell that smell, and thats it !!! the little demon comes out, saying, go on, one puff wont hurt you !! as my Brother-in-law leaves a half smouldering fag in his ashtray er-in-doors, just gets one out and lights up although she dosnt ask me if I want one any more, boyyyy could I kill for one whether I've lost my concentration, positiveness or just cant keep focused on my quit, I'm not sure but have even got the E-Cigs out again to try to help me
I'm sorry for going on but, I seem to be able to get to 6 weeks, then all hell lets loose !!!! in my head I mean

I just want you to know that I am sending you the strongest Stay Quit vibes that I can. You have done so well to have come this far. I am lucky in that the only other person living in my house is my younger son and he doesn't smoke. When my older son visits I do notice the smell of smoke and encourage him to smoke outside as even one cigarette has the power to linger. I do feel for you and along with everyone else so want you to be able to continue with this quit of yours. When I was chatting to my neighbour yesterday, who must be in her 80s now, she lit up. We were outside but I still found the smell quite strong so indoor must be a real challenge.
I'm sending my biggest Sally hug and hope you get through today along with the rest of your weekend. If I was as technically minded as Jilly And Sue I'd send you a funny pic to make you laugh as well but I'm working on it, along with my gardening. I have planted some lettuce leaves and have a chat with them daily which seems to be encouraging their growth so you never know. If they do, I will take a pic and attempt to post it on here.

I tell you now young Lady, have had your stay quit vibes and they have helped me tremendously and I am now sampling your hugs, and I tell you they are gorgeous gal cos i love hugggs, I really really dooooo You can tell a lot about a person by a hug and i thank you very very much Sally
Hmmmmm about you talking to your lettuce leaves gal, there is nothing wrong with that, as long as nobody sees you I always talk to my plants in the greenhouse, especially the tomatoes, ha ha ha and when I turn my back on them to get another jug of feed for them, am sure they are quivering am not sure whether its cos of me or its just cos they like the feed I give them and I always call them Ladies
If you need any help posting pics, just ask gal, and I will try to guide you through it
