Hi sinfree, I'm feeling much better today, thank you, I always have bad days so i just go with the flow.
I hope the sun comes out for you soon :), we're a bit overcast as well but meant to see the sun soon, whatever your doing today I hope you have a great one
You did better than me I couldn't open it. see you later off to get my hair trimmed. Its not great since I had the chemo. it was always fine, but now its fine and lifeless, ( like the rest of me) I am hoping it gets a bit better soon. I am still losing some hair, granddaughter says I`m moulting.
Good morning Andi, lovely to have you back. nothing exciting happening over the last few days. The gremlins haven't sorted themselves out yet.
Have a lovely day . Catch up later. xx
Good morning Andi, Sue and Jilly. I see dark looking clouds lurking in our sky maybe just a blip, hope so, I would be very sad to see the sun disappear.
Hi Sin, hope your ok. some grey clouds here in Yorkshire , but the sun is blasting through them, so another sweltering day. I hope we get this next year. I can`t go out for long in this after having chemotherapy. besides I do struggle to breathe too Good because to relax and enjoy some cool drinks though. Have a lovely day. xx
Maybe I should try talking about the weather which is hot ... dam hot & not a cloud in the sky - but not been out in it today yet...

Today it has felt like I have taken on a formidable opponent and as yet have not being given much of a break....

THANK YOU for listening
Have great evening
From: NON smoker Jonathan
p.s. I wanted to say that I had a few too many drinks last night and as a result today has been very difficult but I don't think I will be that honest !!
That's OK Jonathan, you complain as much as you like, you're entitled to, its not easy by any means so every day is a victory for you Have you gone cold turkey or have you got some NRT
Hi Jonathan scream, shout and moan, we have all done it and we don't mind. At least you are trying to stay focused. If your really struggling why not think about an nrt product for the really bad cravings. Have a good evening.
If it comes down to a cig or nrt I will go for nrt - got most of the stuff.
Thanks again - I really do want to quit this time but OMG sometimes it is so difficult, mad , crazy .. I guess only anther Ex smoker with a similar mental make-up would know how difficult this is.
See, you're a brave person doing without anything at all to see you through the cravings, that must be the hardest way of all to quit. Whether it gets it all done and dusted and out of the way much quicker I'm not sure but would have thought that is the case, you'd have to ask Andi. There is someone else too who did it with the Alan Carr book, which is NRT-less

tsk, I pressed the enter button by mistake. I was gonna say if you don't fancy reading Alan Carr, who I've always found a bit patronising to be honest, there's a really good book that I read most of (must finish it one day) called Stop Smoking 52 brilliant ideas to kick the habit for good by Peter Cross and Clive Hopwood. I think you can only get it off Amazon though on the kindle format.
Hiya J, glad to see you're still surviving. I thought you were using all that nrt stuff but you're doing great - respect Dude! It does get easier - eventually. but you'll get there. You've started so now you'll finish - eh? My plan was to just give up the once so that was what I did and you can do that too.
Have just been seeing how long I've been stopped for. 24 weeks and a bit, so only 2 more weeks then it will be half a year. I also worked out that I would have smoked at least 1,680 cigs. Yuk, imagine all those in one ash tray eee I used to smoke in the garage and had an empty foil pie container as an ashtray. When it got so full it became a fire hazard trying to put out another ciggie I would empty it into a carrier bag and leave the carrier bag in the garage for the next emptying and so on. I must admit I used to carry on smoking despite the fact that carrier bag full of ash and fag ends was not a pretty sight.
I don't know, the things we do for love. Well I think I've kicked that love well and truly into touch now, and I've almost forgotten what the garage looks like.. It's just as well really because the amount of junk in there is quite frightening, although I did have some of my most profound thoughts in the garage staring at the clutter.
Well done sinfree, 24 weeks you must be so chuffed with yourself. As for you tin foil pie dish we once had an old cracked vase in the garden which served as an ashtray. When it rained and it needed emptying it was revolting. But like you do I would empty it then light up another ciggy. The things we did for love ( did we say love.) we must have been fooling ourselves.
Thank you Jilly. It's certainly been a roller coaster of a ride but I think I'm over the worst of it now. Still on the lozenges but I'm just accepting that now and hoping that one day I'll just forget to take them. It's very quiet on here isn't it. Maybe everyone's gone to Withernsea after our rave reviews
The garage stinks anyway haha. I never really noticed. My daughter got a car off ebay a few weeks ago but couldn't drive for 6 weeks after having the baby so the car has been sat on our drive. Been leaving the windows open while its been hot and it is really stinky, I think the previous owner must have chain smoked in that car Every time I walked past it would waft out of the window.
The order these posts go on is sooooooo confusing - it makes me dizzy trying to follow everything - still not caught up on everything yet.
It was just sooooo hot today that I had to go down the beach for the afternoon and had 3 swims while there today. I keep planning to try and do some cleaning. I started on the bathroom this morning and I was running(dripping ) in a very short time so gave up and went out on my bike. It was after I got back and was dripping again that I had to go. I always used to say that the best part about going to work in the summer was the air conditioning.
It is confusing isn't it. But you can change the order round with the arrow thingies at the top. Was very humid here today. I've been cleaning and tidying around nearly all day, with laptop breaks I am appreciating my naturally freezing cold house. It's been nice and cool today, at least downstairs anyway. That was very brave of you going out on a bike today, its too hot for me. Went out about 7.30pm last night on my bike when things had cooled down a bit.
Yeah, I put that post on the bottom and it stuck it up the top. I replied lower down and it flew miles on down the page. There's no flow to it like before so we'll have to try and get that written in eventually.
Night Andi, hope you manage to get some sleep in the heat.

Hey Andi, its great to have you back gal am so so sorry I missed you, mind you its took me about half an hour to get on here tonight
I know its hot gal, but if you have a fan and a freezer, then take some ice cubes, tie a bit of string around them, dangle them in front of the fan and switch the fan on, there you go, lovely cold air if that dont work, just kip in ya fridge
Nite nite gal, I hope you have a lovely sleep, erm, try counting ice-creams xxxx
