how likely is to relapse?
hello, I had PP almost 12 weeks ago and I constantly worry that I could get another
psychosis
. The APP guides suggest preparing for a relapse, but does that mean another
psychosis
? How likely a person who had no other mental illness is to have
psychosis
again?

Finding the right medication
I'm still struggling to accept that everything I went through was
psychosis
, so I'm finding it really hard to move on. I'm not sure it's the right medication for me as I often think about the
psychosis
and feel like something was done to me at the hospital as part of an experiment.

Daughter struggling
She had what we know now was a post partum
psychosis
within 24hrs of giving birth. We also now realise that the extreme anxiety she experienced after her first child was probably also a
psychosis
, and she has had on and off mild mental health issues since her teenage years.

Paranoia after psychosis
Has anyone else experienced severe paranoia after
psychosis
? I'm afraid to go out on my own in case someone is out to get me. Has anyone felt this way and recovered from it? If so, what helped?

Treatment resistant psychosis
Hi everyone I was wondering if anyone here has had treatment resistant
psychosis
and has had to take clozapine or have ect treatment? I'm still struggling with a couple of delusions and was hoping to hear some success stories from others.

Wife not accepting treatment for Postpartum Psychosis
Slowly stated paranoia, agitation, talking same things again and again, thinking her son is a incarnation of a GOD, she would not accept that she got Postpartum
Psychosis
, and would not take medication, the whole family tried talking to her, she would not listen to no one.

Psychosis
I’m looking for some support/advice with trying to look forward after all that had happened when I was poorly with PPP. I struggle some days to come to terms with what happened and I constantly finding myself thinking about those long few months in hospital with my baby. We have the best bond now but

2 Year Anniversary of My PPP
I am starting to believe that my post partum
psychosis
forced me to press pause on [blow up actually] a life that desperately needed redirecting.

5 years on and stuck in a rut
I'm 5 years on from my Post- Partum
Psychosis
episode. I'm having an awfully tough time mentally and physically. My son has lived with his dad for nearly 3 years now due to my mental health never stabilising after ppp.

Reoccurring postpartum psychosis
Hi, I just wondered if you could tell me if
psychosis
can return due to stress if you don't have another baby? I had my daughter in 2021 and had postpartum
psychosis
have fully recovered and no longer on medication since 2022.

My psychosis story which has continued but the meds are disabling me
I left a sequence of very good jobs where work place bullying would trigger an episode of
psychosis
. Is there other mums who've had more than one episode of
psychosis
? Or had similar beliefs ?

Alcohol
Hey it's been a year since my admission for PP and I'm currently down to 2.5mg Olanzapine but 60mg fluoxetine due to depressive episode after my
psychosis
. I just wondered if anyone has drank alcohol since their psychotic episode and if you were still taking anti-psychotics?

Olanzapine and bodily sensations
Since I've had
psychosis
I have noticed that I can't feel my muscles when I work out and no longer get any soreness or aches, whereas previously I would get a lot. I even had a massage and could barely feel it, only felt skin deep sensations and not the deep tissue feeling that I'm used to.

Regarding the research study by Kat Williams
I'm really excited about her research because, if you weren't aware, there has been very little research done on postpartum
psychosis
. There's lots of research on postpartum issues and lots of research on psychotic disorders, but almost nothing on postpartum
psychosis
.

Overwhelming fear of death
It’s kind of aligned to end of the world/doomsday/ascension, which played into my
psychosis
and thoughts at the time. It’s a completely irrational fear, and I cannot fathom how I could think this and feel such anxiety while trying to sleep!
