Treatment resistant psychosis

Hi everyone

I was wondering if anyone here has had treatment resistant psychosis and has had to take clozapine or have ect treatment?

I'm still struggling with a couple of delusions and was hoping to hear some success stories from others.

Hope you are doing ok, are you still under care of professionals who can make sure you are looked after whilst experiencing delusions.

I have not had ect or taken clozapine but hopefully there will be someone on the forum who can share their experience with you.

I am sorry you are going through such a challenging period, thinking of you. I had ECT treatment after responding poorly to medication and it was a turning point in my recovery. It was hard to accept at the time but I put my trust in the professionals who were caring for me at the time and their experience. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Hello, my memory is impacted around the time of treatment but you are put under anaesthetic and given the treatment then in my experience was tired and had mild headache for a short time after. Although different for everyone I began to experience improvements early into treatment sessions.
