Hi went though the trauma of the Whipple operation in November and the diagnosis of ampulary adenocarcinoma feeling pretty strong, but nerves getting to me this morning.
I have a phone consultation with the oncologist this morning
Will they stop the chemotherapy?
If they don't then I will have to break out of "shielding" and visit a crowded blood testing waiting room Friday. ? Not to worried about the actual chemotherapy ward Monday.

Good luck with your appointment and please try not to worry too much you will be fine. Just think to yourself I can do this. Remember we are all here for you. Have a lovely day and take care of yourself 😊 Bernadette xx
Hi R1100S1,
I fully understand how anxious and nervous this is making you. If you can, try to concentrate on how far you've come so far, and not what's to come.
It would be irresponsible to offer what could only be a guess as to how your current treatment will continue, but I'd be inclined to say 'why wouldn't it'? Many people are still going through serious illness during this crisis and hospital departments are still delivering treatments for problems other than coronavirus.
I'm pretty sure extra measures will be in place to protect you, but clearly the only person who can give you a definitive answer on all your worries, is your oncologist. And luckily you will be speaking with her/him this morning. So do ask anything you need to know during your phone consultation.
I wish you peace in your heart so that you can put down some of your worries as you go forward. Please take great care. ♡
Hi
I'm so sorry to hear what you are going through. I'm sure your oncologist will advise you. I would think that everything should go ahead for you but your oncologist will tell you exactly what to do. Sending all my love and hugs Lynne xxxx 🤗😘xxxx
