Whipple procedure

I am now awaiting a major operation involving the Whipple procedure.

HI I had the Whipple operation 4 years ago which was successful, however I still suffer from digestive issues such as loose motions which seem to lead to a rash . Also stomach cramps especially at night.Lots of Uti’s. Does anyone else suffer the same problems and how are they dealing with them.

Is there anyone who has had a Whipple operation over 11 or more years ago? I would love to chat. As I say I had my operation over 11 ago - is there anyone else who had it long ago still having problems?

Hi As mentioned in response to previous posts I had my whipple on 18th November 2019 Seen my consultant today Had procedure as we thought precancerous in ampulla but seems not the case. Ampulary adenocarcinoma detected and also detected in 5 out of 27 lymph nodes.
