Update- Moderna Spikevax

Just to update. Received blood result and all within rang with the exception of Lymphocyte count which 3.1 only slightly over range. CPR 4 g/L, ESR 2. Which rules out PMR flare. So onwards and upwards, definitely downwards with Pred.-so pleased.

I am now wondering whether the muscle paralysis I had could have been bought on by some chemical in the vaccine which triggered off an episode Paramyotonia genetic (usually bought on by cold) which affects the skeletal muscles a rare genetic disease. This was discovered when my brother had an episode of muscle paralysis after taking Statins. His consultant took a biopsy of his calf muscle from which his consultant actually found the faulty gene. A number family have also got it.

Sorry not sure you really want to know about my health history.

Not necessarily… although in this scenerio may well not be a flare. But for future information, blood markers can lag a long way behind symptoms…..a fact which some doctors don’t always realise.

How are you feeling now?

I am feeling a lot better thank you DL. I have been using a tens on machine on calves and shoulders seems to have helped, just a dull pain now

I seemed to go on some what. It is another disease that not a lot is known by people including doctors

The related tags do not seem to be mine

HU makes them up as it goes along I think! Is there anything on a post for you to choose tags?

I think HU has an algorithm that looks at the title of the post and the posters health interests from profile…and then makes it up😳

Silly me. There was me feeling sorry for the person on some of the posts who had loads of medication and cancer.

If the person says it in a post, you can believe it. If it is just the tags? Not so much ...

Sorry I thought the tags were the medications etc that were related to the person posting

They are supposed to work in the search thing but I find stuff better using google!!!!

Well we all know how brilliant that is🤦🏻‍♀️

Could the self-generation of non-related tags be the reason?
