Just to update. Received blood result and all within rang with the exception of Lymphocyte count which 3.1 only slightly over range. CPR 4 g/L, ESR 2. Which rules out PMR flare. So onwards and upwards, definitely downwards with Pred.-so pleased.
I am now wondering whether the muscle paralysis I had could have been bought on by some chemical in the vaccine which triggered off an episode Paramyotonia genetic (usually bought on by cold) which affects the skeletal muscles a rare genetic disease. This was discovered when my brother had an episode of muscle paralysis after taking Statins. His consultant took a biopsy of his calf muscle from which his consultant actually found the faulty gene. A number family have also got it.
Sorry not sure you really want to know about my health history.

Not necessarily… although in this scenerio may well not be a flare. But for future information, blood markers can lag a long way behind symptoms…..a fact which some doctors don’t always realise.
