Is vitamin K2 ok with edoxaban?
I'm aware that historically Warfarin has a question mark over
vitamin
K1
for various reasons Some people seem to monitor using inr testing but my question is that more modern anti coagulants use a different mechanism of action.

Adding Vitamin K to D3 - K, K1, K2, Mk, etc?
I want to add K to my D and don’t know the specifics or dosing. I have a stockpile of about 6-12 months of D3 due to an auto-Amazon order and previously sharing the D with family. I take one a day - D3 at 2500 iu (62.5 mcgs). What specifically can I add to get the right k? K, k1, k2, what about mk7

C15 again…
People with PD often lose weight quickly. I wonder if the body is burning fat looking for c15? Wild thought. Here is some more from chatgpt: C15:0 (pentadecanoic acid), like other fatty acids, is both used by the body and accumulated in various tissues, depending on several factors, including

Sharing comfort food recipe
Hi! I came across this post about making mashed potatoes with less fat and no dairy, and wanted to share. I just tried it and loved the results! It's comfort food (hopefully) without the pain. Because of my personal limitations, I bypassed the step of browning the potatoes in butter first, and cooked

ibrance questions and longterm side effects
Good day everyone, I have been on ibrance and letrozole for approximately 14 months. My oncologist changed my dosing protocol after about 3 months to 5/2/5/2 (5 on, 2 off etc) due to absolute neutrophil counts. I have also been taken off for one month when they “tanked” to 700. The 5/2 protocol has

advice on my mam's test results please
My mother (67yrs old) has finally taken a private blood test, after countless dismissals from her doctor that her symptoms are due to 'just getting older' 🙄. She is not on any medication. She does take many vitamins, but I don't have a list. TSH 3.56 mIU/L (0.27 - 4.2) 83.7% Free T4 (fT4) 14.41

Where to get vitamins/ supplements?
Hi everyone, trying to get my head around preparing for a new cycle. Does anyone take coq10 - (consultant recommended 600mg) or a vaginal probiotic (apparently more effective than oral?) ? If you have a male partner does he take any supplements? We’ve no known sperm issues (unexplained infertility)

low TSH normal t3 and t4
I have been having fatigue, anxiety and weakness for a while now. Blood tests came back this week with 0.03 TSH but normal t3/t4 although both were in the higher end of the range. I have a history of swinging hyper/hypo and have diagnosed nodules. Currently not medicating. Could this result explain my

Magnesium?
I’ve been trying to boost my vitamins and built in magnesium. I’ve also been reading the recent research that this could be a real wonder supplement across a range of issues? So it’s attractive! But that aside, I don’t think it’s agreeing with me. I’m (or was) taking a capsule a day, 80mg magnesium from

Have dropped from CKD stage 2 to Level 3 A. Would love any advice?
Hi. I am a 49 year old woman and have CKD all of my life. I was born with duplex kidneys and had them operated on at 2 weeks old. So without boring you all senseless, I’ve been happily getting by on a GEFR of 67 and this year after my annual blood test my GFR has dropped to 55, which takes me down to

Help Please - Endo has increased my T3
My latest blood test results - T4 17 (12-22) - T3 5.1 (3.01 - 6.8) TSH 0.01 (0.27 - 4.2). I can never get an early morning test at this hospital, my blood test was 1pm. I had stupidly forgot and took my T4 75 mcg before bed. I did not take my T3 until after the blood test. I still feel very unwell

my daughters results
Hello, new here and hoping you can suggest a really good iron supplement that’s gentle on the tummy and vegan friendly. My daughter’s ferritin is 19.80 ug/L (Range: 30 - 169) Her other vitamins are also a bit rubbishy but I’ve got that covered. Thanks. 🥰

iron suggestions please
Would be grateful for recommendations for iron supplement for my daughter. She is vegan and her ferritin is on the low side. In fact her vitamins are all rubbish but I’ve got everything else covered. Something gentle would be preferred. thanks in anticipation 🥰🥰
