Where to get vitamins/ supplements?

Hi everyone, trying to get my head around preparing for a new cycle. Does anyone take coq10 - (consultant recommended 600mg) or a vaginal probiotic (apparently more effective than oral?) ?

If you have a male partner does he take any supplements? We’ve no known sperm issues (unexplained infertility) but want to throw what we can at it next time.

Also any reputable sites? Can only think of Holland and Barrett but they don’t have them and a bit unsure about ordering off Amazon?

Any tips or other recommendations would be great. Thank you ☺️

Hey!

I have been taking Liposomal CoQ10 Ubiquinol 600mg which I get off Amazon and then supplements wise my husband and I both take Viridian (again can get these off Amazon) which are brilliant.

Hope this helps 😊

Thanks I’ll look into these. Just wasn’t sure about Amazon as it’s not a pharmacy but don’t seem to have these things in Boots! And the prices much more reasonable. Great to hear you’ve found them good 😊

Hiya, it's not cheap, but I order from Vitabiotics direct (pregnancy max or comes with Omega 3 Capsules) , Holland and Barrett (when they have it in stock and Solgar for Ubiquinol as I don't trust other brands 🫣 so it costs a fortune, but less if you buy direct and subscribe monthly, they give you 15% off and if you join their rewards, you earn basically £5 for every £50 spent and you can elect to have that taken off your subscription balance. I only buy from Amazon if it is sold by and fulfilled by Amazon. That way I can trust the source and know I'm taking legitimate products. Best wishes xxx

Thank you will take a look at Vitabiotics and check H&B again. You’re right it costs a fortune, so annoying as it’s probably peanuts to make! Hadn’t thought about Amazon fulfilled stuff being different. Need to price it all up. Xx

hi my amazing friend has spent 4 years creating a supplement for fertility called Ova post her ivf journey where she realised most fertility brands on shelves had bulk in them ie Pregnacare. Ova has just launched in Boots take a look! Ingredients are top grade. X

I buy coQ10 from Nature's Best, online. They're not the absolute cheapest but they're a reputable British company and I trust them.

Have your active vitamin B12 , folate , Vit D ,zinc levels if you can .I have taught fertility awareness 40 yrs & retired midwife.Male sperm can increase to 100 million if vitamin B12 supplement taken .Take folate instead of folic acid .One of my clients had recurrent miscarriages ceased taking folic acid then achieved a pregnancy.
