Nausea and irritable bowel syndrome with pudendal neuralgia

Does anybody else suffer with nausea and irritable bowel syndrome with pudendal neuralgia? I’ve seen a gastroenterologist and he’s done all sorts of tests - endoscopy, colonoscopy, ultrasound. But nothing to find what’s causing it. I’ve been on FODMAP diet for months now and whilst it seemed to help at first the nausea and irritable bowel returned. I’m wondering if the inflamed pudendal nerve is referring back up the gut! It’s bad enough having PN without this on top. Help!

i v just read your meassage and i was suffering from neusea and bowel issuies i have a prolapse bladder and i had this and that test no ansers then i a colonoscopy and iv been ok and no neusea . so i dont know if it was the colonoscopy that helped it or getting my gyno to place my pressery ring further back as it was alys placed at the middle and i aske her to push it further back and im very happy so far so good. i think bladder c ould of been push back blocking my bowel movement and tiny very louse movements i felt neusea as i felt i had a feeling to go open my bowels . it made me feel very un well i would go the soon as i wet in to the lounge i would have to go back again to the toilet . but i think it could been the perresy ring were it was placed i think it must press against other things and causes promlems like this . do you have a prolase and a pressery ring in?

Yes I had a colonoscopy too but it didn’t stop the nausea. I don’t have a pessary but had an anterior cystocele operation to correct the mild prolapse. In hindsight I think I needn’t have had the operation as I think my symptoms were misdiagnosed pudendal neuralgia. After the operation the PN worsened dramatically and has been causing extreme trouble ever since. The nausea started after the operation.
