Pain with prolapse

Gingercatsarethebest profile image

Has anyone else had long term persistent pain with a prolapse. I’ve had a pelvic exam done by an excellent doctor who couldn’t feel anything untoward and am now waiting for a ct scan. I’ve had stomach pains for about six weeks, but only found the prolapse about a week ago, I’ve had a slight prolapse for ages, but it has definitely come further down. The pain is all day everyday, not bad pain, but persistant. I’m 73 years old.

Has anyone suggested a pessary? I had constant pain in my back and lower abdomen, then had a ring pessary fitted. Changed everything for me.
