I was diagnosed with a submucosal fibroid about 18 months ago. I also have didelphyic uteri which means I have 2 uteri, 2 cervix and division down my vagina
Several months ago as the fibroid was causing heavy bleeding, I saw a surgeon who did a transvaginal scan and showed me the fibroid that was at the bottom of one of my wombs. My surgeon put me on the waiting list for a hysteroscopy.
The last few days I have had pain in my pelvis on the side of the fibroid which is on the left, the pain gets worse when I am using the toilet.
It feels almost like a muscle strain and when my muscles are working when I use the toilet, the pain gets worse in the left side of my pelvis, right close to my hip.
Just wondering if the fibroid is pushing on nerves causing me pain?

Hi Lizzie, I'm new on here and absolutely astounded how many, many people are suffering! I really believe it's so important to go back to your GP, you shouldn't be in considerable pain. Even though you're on a waiting list, why should you have to live in constant pain, it's awful!! Melissa x
