I have recently had a pessary fitted to help with a prolapsed bladder that seems to be making it difficult for me to pee. I have great difficulty peeing at night especially during the day, provided I drink plenty I am usually able to go much easier. At night I have to get up every hour sometimes and then I have real problems going.
Anyone else have this problem?

Thank you for your reply. I agree and I hope to speak to my nurse who fitted the pessary after the weekend. I am also suffering from peripheral atrophy in my feet and legs. My legs feel so heavy I have to haul myself up stairs. Has anyone else suffered like this along with prolapse or am I particularly unlucky.
I have prolapsed vagina, bladder and bowel. My doctor said a pessary would cause my pain to get worse. I have to straight cath 25-75% of the time, which makes me miserable. I know what you're talking about. My feet and legs get pins and needles in them from sitting too long on toilet. I get out of breath with BM's. Miralax with trulance is helping somewhat. I had a test recently and the doctor said my colon stopped working. I'm cutting botox shots to see if that will help. Botox helps pain a lot. If not one thing, it's another.
So sorry to hear this. I know how miserable you must feel. I seem to get one thing on top of another. Started with difficulty peeing now pins and needles in feet and legs and my legs feel so heavy when I walk. Does anyone else with prolapse feel their legs are 10 times heavier than normal
