TAH BSO 15mpo. Felt pain in groin immediately after surgery when still on the ward. Complained of hip pain at post op appointment with my consultant and GP. Also felt bulging and feeling of something in my vagina. Told it would all settle. Discharged from gynae. Since then I have been on a rollercoaster of emotions and symptoms.

Severe hip and groin pain.

Back pain.

Numbness and tingling down right leg to foot, and right labia.

Limited range of movement of right hip.

Right flank pain.

Gripping sensation around ribs.

Urine hesitancy.

Sluggish bowels.

Sometimes passing clots with stools.

Mucus with stools.

Bladder prolapse.

Rectal prolapse.

I just feel like an almost 44 year old mess!

What was your surgical procedure?

I had a total abdominal hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo oophermagiggy. My incision healed beautifully. It just seemed to cause a ripple effect of symptoms.

I would recommend that you see your Gp explain your symptoms stating that you are concerned and worried that you are still feeling unwell.

I would strongly advise GP that you would feel better if you got referred to gynaecology and/or colorectal consultants for further diagnostic tests.

You have a right to be listened to!! Wishing you good health and a positive outcome.

i had most of these symptoms after my bladder lift surgery and after many dr.'s apmnts and a lot of pain I ended up with a pelvic pain dr. I highly recommend you find a pelvic pain specialist to get a correct diagnose and the correct medication if your in the states I saw a Dr. Richard Marvel in Annapolis MD... it sounds like a nerve issue and I was told when you have one you probley have multiples...I wish you the best of luck
