I'm so confused right now recently diagnosed with pudendal neuralgia after six months of chronic left sided vulva, groin, hip & leg pain many invasive tests they say PN is the cause. They believe this is a result of historical back problems.
Interested to find out what treatments have been effective for you. My first thoughts are alternative treatments such as massage and acupuncture.

I have had a transvaginal scan & pelvic & lumbar MRI & a sigmoidoscopy many swabs. As these tests showed no abnormalities x2 NHS Gynecologists & 1 Private came to this conclusion. However I do not agree with there diagnosis.
Mine is right side groin pain, buttocks severe nerve pain. nerve pain going down both front and rear of my right leg. Bowel pain really bad if I need to push.
I am having 6 nerve blocks back to back then endo surgery on 6 injection. so far going well. I am being admitted every friday in the hospital being put under.
I had PN and physical therapy cleared it up. Not acupuncture but you have to get a very experienced PT person. I saw an ob gyn and the PT person was recommended. Took about 8 months (this was years ago)
Every time i sat i had an achy feeling in the anal area. when i stood it was fine Ironicall now i have a similar problem but is an anal spasm and only comes after i defectate and is not healing Have tried everything But a good PT should be able to deal with it as long as you are sure that is what you have
