Intermittent Penis Pain

Have any of the other men on here experienced pain at the end of the penis that comes and goes? I can put up with the pain in the back, hip and groin but the Penis pain is really disconcerting. MRI has come back clear but the doctors don’t seem to know what’s causing the problem.

Just from a close friend and other men on here that I've spoken to it's probably a neurological issue that a lot of us have on here ...one of the pelvic nerves/muscle issues....you can go to specialists all day long and get MRI CT scans and it doesn't show up... only Publix or physical therapist can find it usually...you may need pelvic floor physical therapy

Sorry talk messaging messed me up I was saying only pelvic floor physical therapist know how to treat it and you will find a pelvic floor physical therapist usually at a general physical therapy place.. you have to call and ask if they have a PT especially for pelvic floor...I've been in it for about 8 months and it's helped tremendously but it's invasive they have to go in and check the muscles but don't worry they do it all day long

Thanks for the response, I’ve started physio recently so when I visit them next on Friday I’ll speak to them about that.

I'm a man and I'm suffering from PNE right now starting with a osteopathic treatment soon i honestly think it is the only plausible option to alleviatethe pain thus chyros and physios don't really help and doctors wont find anything on exams it's always the same answer everywhere.

Make sure if you see an osteopath specializes in pelvic floor.

It is certainly possible that you may suffer from PNE.

Good luck.

I had this same pain in my penis that came out of nowhere one day. Had seen every specialist and had every test and scans possible. No one had any idea what was causing it. It was extremely painful and debilitating. The doctors gave upon me after numerous trials and errors then told me there was nothing else they could think of doing. They sent me to a pain management center that prescribed everything up to and including morphine tabs. Nothing helped at all. In the meantime I was researching many web sites and blogs such as this. I learned that some men had relief with taking Diazepam. Valium. I asked to be switched to try it and the very first pill of 5mg stopped the pain as if it turned off a switch.,,..! None of the doctors could believe it ! I as so thankful to get my life back. Ask to try it. I took 5mg tabs every 4-5 hours and it never came back. I eased myself off of it for about a year as not to become addicted. Best of luck to you.....I hope you find some relief.

Are you saying you took valium for a year and then eased yourself off of it? And how did you function during the day with it were you able to work and be alert?

in reply tokalecolbe12

The low dosage of 5 mg did make me tired for the first few months. Then that side effect slowly went away after that. It was be tired or the pain.

And how long ago was that and it never came back? So do you think it was neurological and the valium calmed down the nerve?

in reply tokalecolbe12

It’s been over six years now since it stopped. I definitely think it was neurological. Valium is really just a muscle relaxer not a pain killer.

I did the whole pelvic floor with no success. I’m not saying this will work for everyone.......but it sure did for me. Instantly!

Look up Dr John Sarno (eg The MindBody Prescription book) and get the Curable app (start by listening to the education audio tracks and recovery stories). If you have pain in other parts of the body as well as the tip of the penis, this approach could well be the answer :-)
