Pulsed radio frequency (NOT pulsed radio frequency ablation)

Does anyone Have any experience with pulsed radio frequency? It is a technique to stun nerves so they submit less of a pain signal. I am considering using it for problems I have with my spine and possibly with my pudendal nerve. It is difficult to find doctors that do this as well as find reliable treatment outcomes.

Dr Baronoski, was doing this in London ten years ago. I had one treatment but limited short term improvement.

Thanks lucyp. I would be doing it to reduce debilitating muscle tone -and I have read that one side effect is increased muscle tone-which would be very bad for me. Would you mind describing what your side effects were and how long they lasted? And how long the efficacy lasted? Thanks very much for the help.

I had treatment ten years ago so it's quite difficult for me to remember all the details of the many, many treatments I had. In all I had five injections into the nerve one of these was radio pulsed frequency. All I can remember is over the period of having these my muscle spasm increased significantly. If I had my time again I would not have any. Sorry to sound negative but I am being honest.

Thanks for the information:This might not be the way to go for me. Sounds like you had some back issues. Did you ever find anything that did work?

I tried everything including decompression surgery in Istanbul. Nothing really worked until I had some sessions with David McCoid who lived quite close to me at the time.

For me some stretches just worked for me giving me a big level of improvement that nothing else had done and I tried loads of things all financed personally.

I have suggested this stretch to other people but sadly it does,nt seem to have the same effect, which just goes to show how complex this problem is. David has developed a new program with an American guy, which has reported some success but does need a commitment on time and determination.

What exactly have you heard about the new program and its success rate? I talked to David last night for the first time and had a hard time getting exact numbers from him as far as total numbers of subscribers and success rate. Same old thing though-I’m Desperate enough that I am seriously considering doing it

I have heard probably the same as you some people have done very well others not so, which is the same as other treatments and their success rates.

All I can say in David,s favor

All I can say in David,s favour is he did suffer from this terrible condition as a young man for many years despite numerous interventions. He has done a lot of research into muscle dysfunction and his program is non interventional and can be done in the comfort of your own home.
