Please can anyone help? I have a vaginal prolapse front and back wall it was diagnosed about a month ago . I have had a more or less constant dull aching like period pain in my pelvis and also my thighs ache and feel heavy constantly for weeks now.
Do you think my thighs aching are related to prolapse ? Or is this something else ? It’s making me miserable.
I am 53 and I have had a hysterectomy 2 1/2 years ago . I kept my ovaries.
Cheers

Yes definitely Hun. I had my hysterectomy 4 years ago as I had a prolapse and also have a prolapse again but it’s my bladder this time. Some days are ok but if I walk too much I really suffer with back and tummy pain. Also then when I sit down it hurts as everything is being pushed back up. Hope this relates to you. You need surgery to correct it again. It takes ages to get sorted so best to go the doctors and get the ball rolling and tell them it’s urgent and effecting your daily activities. Also make sure they refer you back to the same consultant as I found out the hard way. This will also save you time.
Thanks for this Clare I thought as much . I have been referred just waiting to hear . It seems never ending . I’ve had a TVT , and repair before then a enlarged prolapsed womb removed and a repair . It is looking like further surgery well that’s wat I think in my head. But the leg pain that’s new one on me . I also do loads of walking in my job wearing a heavy stab vest. But I’m restricted at moment. Thanks for your reply x
Dawn have you tried a tampon sea sponge or something up in there? You can order sea sponges through amazon for your period but they’d work for this too I suspect. Worth a try!!!
