Hi I recently had been in emergency for very low left abdominal pain around the ovary. I was treated for the pain and was given an ultrasound. The ultrasound came back as small cysts ( which I already had most of my life) but I also had fluid around that area. I’m not sure what this means i got told to take painkillers at home if the pain changes or I start vomiting go straight back to the hospital. it’s been 7 days I still have the pain and seem to because of the sudden pain. It seems to increase when I tense any of my stomach muscles resulting in me falling. Anybody have any idea what is going on or how I can manage the pain? I do gymnastics and haven’t been able to join in for two weeks which is really affecting my mental health 😔

Pain, muscle or ovary ?
Hi Mish542...I too suffer with left sided pain but mine moves and after many dr.'s and trips to the ER i found out that I have some nerve damage from a previous (2) surgerys..have a talk with your GYN and ask questions about your pelvic nerves I would hate to see you have to go thru the Hell I've been thru trying to find a dr. that could help me ...as of right now I am waiting for the pain to go away they tell me it should take care
Hi this realy helped maybe lv found the answer thankyou x
It might be pelvic inflammatory disease...I have it and it causes pain in your ovaries.
Hey, may i know what cause your PID?
Mine is caused by when I had unprotected sex on my period. Doing that can increase the chance of bacteria going through your cervix and reaching other organs. Just something to think about and ask your doctor
i know these posts are quite old but i just want to say could you have tight psoas muscle.
i've had left side pelvic pain and many tests.i'm now with a physio who sez the fitter you are the most likely you are to get this.
