For those diagnosed with PN/PNE did you undergo MRI as part of the diagnosis?
I know it's only guide line only surgery and the surgeon can determine PNE.

I had a 3T MRI a few months ago. The very short report stated that the pudendal nerve is traced along the lateral wall of the ischia rectal fossa and that no mass or other compressive pathology is identified in relation to it.
I never had a follow up appointment with the private pain management consultant who advised I should have a scan because I was in too much pain to travel to London to see him. Therefore I was unable to ask any questions in relation to the scan.
I am assuming that the nerve could still be trapped but not by an identifiable mass.
