Wow, thank you for sharing this, there's hope for us sufferers yet. Ā
Does anyone have any experience of his technique being used in UK?
Wonder how this would work on other damaged nerves? Since this technique is so new, would insurance cover it?
Hi there, I'm so glad you found the story! I'm the producer who put it together. I came on this site before writing it to read about what other women experience with PN and if there are other treatments women have tried. It's unbelievable just how many women live in this kind of pain!! I hope you find someone in the UK who can do this because it is truly life-changing for the majority of women with PN.
This is the video if you want to watch it: youtube.com/watch?v=0eWQ12u...
And, yes, it can be used on other types of nerve pain! Dr. Prologo has been doing it for years on cancer pain and he has recently started doing it for amputees who experience phantom limb pain: youtube.com/watch?v=sYb5o19...
Thank you for posting video. Ā The pain we suffer is unbearable at times and men also suffer. With PN the pain does not go away, it is constant and varies in degrees. With other pain you know there will be an end, with this there isn't one. It is also the sensations, burning, stabbing, crawling spams etc etc. OneĀ Ā man on Facebook has planned to end his life, I posted this in the hope he will change his mind. There are many others who have and are contemplating suicide because of the sheer hopelessness Ā not just of a cure but some relief. I have lost my job, as have many others. The impact PN has on sufferers, their family and friends is enormous and nothing is worse in my opinion than no hope. Now we have some. Thank you sincerely for producing this, you have given hope were there was none. I know many have reposted the link so hopefully we can spread the word. I hope somewhere in the uk this can be done.Ā
Interesting all the references to it being help for woman. I suspect just as many men have it but it's put in the basket of *non-bacterial prostatitis*. I've had it 10 years and it has nothing to do with my prostate. Recently pain specialist diagnosed as PN. I know countless men with the same prostate focused diagnosis where it's PN. Some actually went as far as having their prostate removed to no avail...pain still present.
I think it is more prevelant in women but there are a lot of men who suffer to. I don't think I know of anyone who has been diagnosed with PN from the beginning most have had several wrong diagnosis first, myself included, treated for something else for 10 years! How awful to have prostrate removed for no reason!
The lengths we go to to *cure* ourselves; not only do men get their prostate removed, but a group from online forum went to China to some Dr. advertising online that specific prostate injection cocktail was the cure...most came back with Hep C. I like the prospect of CT guided cryo; if not for cure, for periods of great relief before wiley nerves reroute.
