Pregnant with fibroids please help

I am 10 wks pregnant, I have 5 fibroids all around the womb in the wrong places and I am having a yellow discharge. I have had all the blood tests and swaps done and they have all came back normal, I have asked many g.ps and my midwife about it and I keep getting told don't worry about it it's normal. I was getting this discharge before falling pregnant as well, has anyone else experienced this? And is this normal? Should I b worried?

Hi Carla,

I’m sorry to hear you are worried. What I would say is that you’ve had the tests regarding the yellow discharge and if you aren’t happy you are entitled to a second opinion. Is it possible for you to ask your GP or midwife to request an appointment for you to see an obstetrician? They might be able to reassure you that in your case it is entirely normal as some women’s discharge is naturally a slightly yellow colour and nothing to worry about or you might need treatment if symptoms become more troublesome such as pain in the abdomen, pain on urination etc. I haven’t had a pregnancy myself but it is normal for you to be concerned. I hope this has helped

Thanks for the advice iam trying to get hold of my GP to get a second opinion maybe do the swaps again to double me check the results, but it's hard to get a doctors appointment at the moment. If I can t get hold of the do tors I will try the midwife again I'm going for my scan next wk so hopefully I ll get a little piece of mind then. Thank you for your help.

Thank you will try. I waited 2years to get someone to even look in to getting my fibroids removed it just happens that I fell pregnant just a few months before I was suppose to see a surgeon about removing them. So I know how frustrating it is waiting or even trying to get a doctor to look in to them. Good luck.
