Thank you for your reply, the pain started around 7 weeks ago. It first felt as though I had a full bladder. Then I felt pains in the groin area, the pain starts out like a burning sensation then escalates to a stabbing pain . It then becomes very sensitive in this area slight bulge very tender. The pain level is at a ten to the point i can't stand up straight.
Not sure I can, sorry. Sounds dreadful. You are in USA? So just after 6am there as I write this 12.10pm UK. Just a few points to consider - although you may have already:
Does this pain and undiagnosed condition affect your bowel and bladder function?
Was there a fall or any injury prior to onset of pain? Could it be a tendon injury?
I do bowl not sure if it;s a tendon injury also not sure how to determine if it is, will check with an orthopedic today. Have not seen a colorectal or Physiotherapist.
I had the same symptoms. took me more than a decade to figure out. Make sure you get everything ruled out of course, std, injury, prostate checked (no clue what a chaney looks like), hysterectomy mesh corrected or removed. Turns out, for me, it was scar tissue wrapped around several nerves, you can try the Astym method or the Graston technique (look them up on youtube). Basically you rub a tool hard over the skin of your abdomen, butt, pubis, and the scar tissue slowly breaks down. It will look like its bruised/bleeding under the skin, but its harmless.
Chaney is a 61 year old male, prostate cancer surior. std was ruled out, looking into if could be an injury. I am going to look into the other methods and techniques you described.
