hi everyone! I have mild PID according to the 2 doctors I went to. I am suffering from chlamydia for the past few months but it felt like all the oral antibiotics I took were not working that much. I did HIV test 2 months and 3 months after I contracted this STD and it is negative, thank God!. Now I am afraid that I might get infertile. I am still on oral antibiotics doxycycline 100 mg 2 times a day and metronidazole 250 mg twice a day for 14 days. I am also having irregular bleeding now. Before I have regular menses. I don't have fever, nausea and vomiting and I am praying I will not have that though I have cold clammy hands and feet sometimes, on and off left lower abdominal pain but it is tolerated. The doctor saw simple cyst on my left ovary I hope it doesn't mask the infection.Does anyone suffered from the same illness? I would love to hear your story and how you recovered. thank you

Hi julie , it seems that all your symptoms are identical as mine i was diagnosed with pid also and also i have cyst on my left ovary 3.5 its quite big already ang also they found out i have tubular abscess i dont have much pain but i have these numbness feeling on my lower abdomen i have vaginal dischages before i was daignosed only 2 weeks ago i did have 14 days course of antibiotics im on my last day already i was thinking maybe this time the numbness feeling will go away but still i have this on and of feeling

what did the Dr told you about the tubular abscess and the cyst? Is she going to do laparoscopy or any procedure?

My discharges is almost minimal to nothing unlike before I had copious discharge. How are you now?
