Pain suffering MM, (mere male)....

I have this lower left back pain, pain in the left groin area, left thigh / hip area and everywhere between areas mentioned..... I have all sorts of x-rays etc but they find nothing. Most of the posts I have read on 'pain' seem to be associated in the same regions. Any one any ideas as to what may be the cause? Yes, I have a swag of pain killer meds and they usually hold the pain at bay.

I know of some physiotherapists who can help you. They are in Southampton and Birmingham. Are any of these close to you?

Thankyou, I would love to say yes but they might be a little bit far away for me, I am in New Zealand....

Oh gosh. Are there any pelvic physio's there. Try to find one. I'm sure they can help you. In terms of pain medication, I saw a pain consultant in London and he prescribed my Duloxetine, apparently this is the first line for chronic pain now. But I think this is just to take the edge off until you find other ways to help yourself, with pelvic physio, special exercises, lifestyle adaptation etc. Have you had an MRI spine to make sure it is not a slipped disc etc?

P.S. In terms of over the counter medication, I find paracetamol helps the best. Codeine is to be avoided as it causes addiction and is very hard to come off.
