Hi about 4 weeks ago I was diagnosed with diverticulitis following a few days of being unable to go to the loo,Left sided stomach pain and a high temperature

I was prescribed two lots of antibiotics and put on a low residue diet and within about 5 days it seemed to have calmed down

However since then my bowel movements are not normal and I have severe left sided hip back and abdomen pain

A blood test has shown up markers for ovarian cancer. I have to wait to be fast tracked for a scan . I'm absolutely terrified

My question is has anyone else had this experience being told they may have ovarian cancer after first being diagnosed with diverticulitis and is being left with left hip back and abdomen pain usual after 4 weeks from an attack ?
