Hey there, I am Carleen, my troubles all start way back in 2010 when i began to feel really sore down below, after being to the doctors several times during the course of that year all i was told was that i had thrush by doctors and they gave me canestan to treat it the so called "thrush" never went away and kept on getting worse with time, by June 2011 things started getting a little more serious i started fainting and having blackouts and i spent from June till September (3 months) on my period and when i would go the doctor once again multiple times and being given canesten again and tablets to stop the bleeding, which only made my abdominal pains worse. In November that year I had to go visit accident and emergency department in the hospital as my abdominal pains had got so bad i couldn't even move when i got to speak to the doctor there i explained that i had gone to visit the doctor several times the year before for the same problems and that i felt i wasn't given the correct treatment and thats why i felt that the pains had got worse. The doctor at the accident and emergency department soon transferred me to a gynaecologist which i saw the next day, where i was told that my abdominal and back pain were due to STDS (gonorrhoea & Clamidia) I was transmitted and due to these STDS my Fallopian tubes were blocked with fluid and that was their explanation for the cause of the pain, the gynaecologist did not give me any treatment such as antibiotics he gave me canasten with hydrocortesone, which didn't get rid of the pain. on the 21st of December 2011 i was admitted into hospital to have a bilateral salpingectomy (removal of Fallopian tubes) due to the infection i had, after my operation i had a check up routine appointment where i was told that i had Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) and i got put on antibiotics for 2 weeks. during the course of antibiotics i was still in pain my legs and abdomen would hurt and my back too. I saw 4 doctors and 3 different gynaecologists and they all told me differently about why after the operation i still had these excruciating pains, its now 2016 and i still suffer the same pains and i feel they just get worse my last appointment was with a women health doctor back in October and she told me that PID is for life and that i either take painkiller and anti inflammatory's all my life or live in pain, I am only 24 and my pains do get worse daily i also found out i have adhesion's and that is what makes me bleed from time to time and its really painful if theirs anyone with similar or the same problems as me please message me and help me shed some light of this horrible situation.

I am so sorry to read this. First of all you do not have PID it appears that you were not diagnosed correctly band they took the easy easy out. You may have Pudendal Neuralgia which causes all of the symptoms except for the fluid in your fallopian tubes. I don't know where you live but go to pudendalhope.com and find a doctor towards the bottom of the page. Good luck.
It is impossible to diagnose your problem online. You need to go and see a specialist. I would suggest you go to your local Genito-urinary medicine (GUM) clinic. They don't only deal with STD's they are experts in PID and other women's health issues. They will test you properly and rule it out if you have been misdiagnosed. Good luck.
