Pain after going to the bathroom after laparoscopy

Hi all,

I had my laparoscopy to remove endometriosis 6 days ago. Since then I've been having pain after going to the bathroom, it's a dull ache - similar to period pain. Did this happen to anyone else?

Thanks

Hello lovey, I had my lap just over three weeks ago. Mine was the same although sorry for maybe to much information, it also felt like a sudden urge, burning and quite a distinctive smell and colour still having a bit of problem now so took my sample into local doctors as I'm back next week to seey consultant. If your worries ring the hospital and seek advice may just need some antibiotics to clear up a lil infection.

Hope your feeling better soon

Yes it happened to me. It could be the bladder is spasms or your Pelvic floor muscles. See if your Dr will give you muscle relaxers
