Hi all! Thank you for the support during my MRI/MRCP. That came out fine. I had a followup on my thyroid cancer (head and neck U/S) on Tuesday. Found out I have a "suspicious" lymph node. Waiting on the doctor to see if its a wait and see or a biopsy for me. So goodie.
But thought I would post this on here. Most of us know that getting a DEXA /Bone density scan is pretty standard for those of us with PBC. I've had about three prior to the one I took today. All hav said "mild osteopina in the left leg or hip" or something. Can't recall. But today, I found that I have now slipped into Osteoporosis. Pretty severe too. I know that tracks with me being post menopausal and the PBC, but I guess having Osteo at 55 (almost 56) really wasn't in my thoughts or cards. I know my Mom got it young too (Also had PBC and had cancer twice). So I knew it would probably happen, but wasn't ready for it. I am still not 100% sure what the report says. I have a followup with my GI doc in May, so I am sure she will explain all the tests I have taken. I still have to schedule my Mammogram and I'm nervous about that too. So many tests so quick and so many of them with "uhhh" results. Thanks for listening.
