After 2 weeks on prednisone and azathioprine my liver enzyme were down to normal range alp=80, alt=44, ast=30 and today I had another every 2 weeks labs done where everything is decreasing alp=55, ast=20 but alt which got stall in 44.

So, I’m thinking I might be more aih then pbc..wonder what happens if I stop urso🤔

Good news on getting down to normal range, not sure about stopping the URSO though. If you do let us know how it pans out.

best wishes

Do get get your doctors advice before stopping it. I would stay with the Urso, if you have pbc, it not only brings down the blood numbers. Its reported ( I read it somewhere) to be somewhat protective in a way that alters the toxicity of the bile. So glad to hear your numbers are down to the normal range.

I'm so glad your numbers got down to good range! Stay the course. I guess I can't see "how" the URSO could be "bad" for you.. why stop now. Good news for you!

I think I should not since I have both..it is hard to normalize the enzymes or progression when u have both😔
